To celebrate the restock of Pax Vaporizers here in Australia (finally!!) we have put together a guide on how best to care for your Pax Vaporizer. Pax have absolutely taken the portable vaporizer market by storm here in Australia, and has been the best sellers for 2017, 2018 and we wouldn’t be surprised if they dominate the market in 2019 too!
So you got yourself a Pax Vaporizer, now what? Well it’s quite simple - to keep your Pax Vaporizer in pristine shape, we recommend that you clean it regularly to keep your vapour tasting as smooth as the day you first started using your Pax. Like any innovative and tech savvy unit it has lots of little parts; and these little parts are quite simple to clean and keep right.
The last thing you want is for your favourite vaporizer to not perform to the best of its abilities. Luckily for you though, we here at NamasteVapes have got you covered. We have put together a step by step guide to cleaning your Pax Vaporizer. Follow these steps and you will have your Pax for many years to come.
What you will need:
You need to get some essentials together to give your Pax a good clean.
So how do you know when it’s time to clean your Pax, you ask? - Check your mouthpiece to see if there is a build up of resin, that’s usually the first tell-tale sign meaning that it’s obviously time to clean it. If you feel like your Pax isn’t performing as good as day one. You guessed it folks, It’s time to clean it!!
Follow these six simple steps to clean and maintain your Mighty!
STEP 1: Remove the oven lid and mouthpiece
STEP 2: Insert a pipe cleaner from the top of the unit to the bottom, this will get rid of any residue built up in the vapor path.
Note: The oven screen will pop out of the bottom of the Pax. Fear not - this is meant to happen.
STEP 3: Get the mouthpiece, concentrate pad (Pax 3 only) and oven screen and place these in a glass with some diluted alcohol solution.
STEP 4: Leave these parts to soak for around 30 mins. Remove the parts and let them dry on a paper towel.
STEP 5: Get your Q-Tips and dip them into some rubbing alcohol. Start swabbing the inside to remove residue from use. We recommend holding your Pax upside down, this stops any moisture getting inside your device - you don’t want that!
STEP 6: Put your Pax back together, and just like that - Your Pax is as fresh as the first day you got it! To get the most out of your deep clean, we suggest turning your Pax back on to the highest heat setting and let it run through a few heat cycles until the scent of alcohol is gone. Follow those 6 steps on a weekly basis and we can guarantee you will get many years out of your Mighty Vaporizer. Happy Vaping!
